COVID-19 NOTICE

The following guidelines are currently in place during these difficult times. We are putting forth strong efforts and focus to keep our staff and your occupants safe in dealing with our necessary obligations.

We at The Roofing Specialists severely appreciate our role and relationship within our community and are prepared to take every precaution necessary to keep projects progressing in a safe and healthy manner.

Along with in-house awareness training, site and vehicle postings, rubber gloves, face masks and sanitizer have been purchased and are readily available for all employees. we are passing out the documents in the pics below to every employee and making it mandatory that they take the literature with them to every job site and comply with its content within.

COVID-19 CONSTRUCTION SITE MITIGATION MEASURES

MANDATORY for all on site

DAILY SELF ASSESMENT

  • Upon arrival every morning ALL employees/visitors must perform a daily self-assessment of their health. If you are exhibiting fever, dry cough, and/or shortness of breath, please self isolate for a period of 14 days. See poster below for self-isolating rules and guidelines.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Maintaining a two (2) meter/six foot (6’) separation between workers wherever possible.
  • Holding all site meetings outside in the open air, or via conference call
  • Do not share common areas
  • If you have break together maintain social distancing

HAND WASHING PROTOCOLS

  • Please ensure hands are washed before entry to the site
  • Ensure that hands are being washed frequently throughout the day
  • If you touch your face (eyes, nose, mouth) you MUST wash your hands before touching anything

HAND SANITIZER

  • Apply enough product to the palm of your hand to thoroughly cover your hands. Rub hands together until completely dry
  • Use before site entry
  • Use frequently through the day
  • Follow same instructions as hand washing

BASIC HOUSEKEEPING

  • With the health of your fellow workers in mind, please cough or sneeze into a tissue and safely dispose of the tissue. If you do not have a tissue available, please cough or sneeze into your elbow
  • Wash hands immediately, or use proper hand sanitizing technique

END OF DAY CLEAN UP

  • Site Supervisor / TRS Staff to perform daily cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (door handles, trailer locks, light switches, washroom facilities, tools, equipment etc.) at the end of each day
  • Sub Trades to clean their own work spaces, tools / equipment etc. at the end of each day

We can’t emphasize strongly enough the importance for all trades to keep the workplace clean, and dispose of all debris in a safe manner in this trying times.

Please do not leave your discarded gloves, masks, paper towel, etc. laying around. Dispose of it properly!
